The physicians in the Division of General Clinical Neurology are dedicated to providing expert and compassionate acute and chronic care to both inpatients and outpatients suffering from a wide variety of neurological disorders. We are available to provide continuing neurological care or provide a second opinion for patients or for physicians, including other neurologists.

Neurological conditions evaluated and treated by physicians in the division include,

Migraine	Memory Loss	Neuropathy
Neck pain	Alzheimer's disease	Myasthenia Gravis
Back pain	Epilepsy	Multiple sclerosis
Sciatica	Stroke	Central nervous system infections
		Brain tumors
along with many other conditions, including neurological symptoms of unclear origin.

Because our practice is primarily dedicated to the clinical care of our patients, we see patients every weekday and are able to offer appointments Monday through Friday in a timely manner.

In addition to our focus on clinical care, we also serve as the primary source of outpatient training for our residents in Neurology, one of the premier training programs for future neurologists in the country. A resident and possibly a medical student from the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons may be involved in your care. This will not subtract from our attention to your problem, but usually serves to enhance your care and experience.

We work closely with our colleagues in the Department of Neurology and with other physicians at the medical center to take full advantage of the extensive subspecialty expertise and the facilities of Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. We are able to offer the most innovative and up-to-date diagnostic techniques and treatment modalities.
